Barge Ramos, third president of the prestigious Fashion Designers Association of the Philippines and founder of country's talk-about annual modeling competition Body Shots, had a communication with Reyes after The Philippine Consulate in New York recently hosted his book "PINOY DRESSING: Weaving Culture Into Fashion".

A project proposal is being prepared for the Philippine Tourism Department and for some Congressmen for an event in Europe next year in Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich and Pariswhich should be held in mid-June next year.

Miss Reyes suggested to include Prague in the itinerary after hearing the plan. since the city is becoming a prominent center for the Knights of Rizal. Ms Reyes, great grandniece of Rizal, took no chance to miss the opportunity to suggest Prague.

Ramos mentioned that he coincidentally had a meeting with a friend, Paul Dumol, who had some rare books on Dr. Jose Rizal. So he has been conceptualizing a Rizal-inspired collection on pineapple and jusi fabrics. Handpainted, silk-screened, embroidered with snippets of Rizal's Spanish verses written in his own script included.

Ramos also met with a former teacher last June, Choy Arnaldo, who is with the Knights of Rizal in Paris.

Noubikko said the Knights of Rizal in Prague will welcome the famous designer and Noubikko can do his opening presentation to give credit to Ramos as visiting designer. Noubikko, Philippine-borm American designer has been designing for czech socialites and celebrities. He is also the official designer for Miss Czech for Miss Universe pageant.

Noubikko said during his communication with Ms. Reyes that he is excited to meet one of the Philippines top designers. He said he will invite the International Womens Association of Prague and the Diplomatic wives whom the designer has many contacts to attend to this rare and special occasion.
