of the
Masonic
Lodge
of Hiram,
known
as the
lodge
of the
English-speaking
members
of this
highly
respected
Freemason
organization
in Czech
Republic.
Among
the noted
members
of this
organization
in Czech
Republic
Alfons
Mucha,
the nations
celebrated
father
of the
the modern
art.
Freemasonry
is historically
known
worldwide
as secret
society
of respected
and influential
men in
the society.
In the
21st century
with the
Hollywood
films
and the
availability
of information
in the
internet
much of
the information
is readily
available
for public.
Prague
Art Support,
a nonprofit
group
of calibered
artists
in Prague
have decided
to organize
a multimedia
exhibition
on the
topic
of masonic
symbols
to coincide
with their
100 celebration.
They believe
it would
be a very
good presentation
in Prague.
The city,
is adorned
with beautiful
arts that
were inspired
from the
Masonic
symbols
and it
certainly
deserves
an attention
of appreciation,
Lukas
Maly said,
the president
of the
organization.
An
exclusive
exhibition
will be
announced
soon.
Ten paintings
to represent
each 10
years
of Masonic
existence
will grace
a selected
gallery.
Painted
by carefully
selected
artists
of Prague
Art Support
who rendered
what is
believed
as masterpieces
of the
artists.
These
paintings
were inspired
with known
and unknown
symbol,
which
are connected
with the
history
of the
Freemasonry..
Among
other
popular
symbols
you will
see are
Noah's
arch,
God's
eye, or
David's
star all
individually
interpreted
and rendition
of the
modern
artists
made by
non members
of the
organization.
It is
our own
interpretation
of its
beauty,
one artist
said.
Its mysticism
and grand
impact
to the
art are
inspiring,
he added..
Part
of the
exhibition
is an
original
videoprojection
from American
director
and producer
of experimental
films
Robert
Carrithers,
who made
a research
of how
the these
symbols
highlights
the city
of Prague.
